California OTB guide
California is an OTB state in the classic satellite-wagering sense. You can stand at Santa Anita or Del Mar on a live day, or you can use a licensed satellite facility when you want the signal without the grandstand. Mini-satellite bars stay out. Los Alamitos covers the night and Quarter Horse programs that Southern California horseplayers actually use during the week. Northern California's map shifted after Golden Gate Fields closed; Cal Expo and the fair circuit now carry more of that load. This directory lists tracks and satellites as OTB venues — not as retail sportsbooks, and not as a harness-only editorial guide.
California satellite wagering is licensed through the racing associations. ADW use depends on the operator and your location.
