Maryland OTB guide
Maryland is a mid-Atlantic racing state that still behaves like one. Laurel is the everyday thoroughbred office. Pimlico wakes up for the Preakness and the neighborhood around it. Rosecroft and Ocean Downs handle harness and the Eastern Shore casino crowd. Off-track here means the tracks themselves plus the simulcast rooms — a tighter map than New York's OTB corporations, but a real one.
Preakness week is its own logistics problem. The rest of the year is a normal track visit.
